Jawbone Bluetooth Speaker Review

Today I am doing a review of the Jawbone Big Jambox, which is a portable bluetooth speaker. The Big Jambox is the elder brother of the previously released Jambox.

The Big Jambox is thrice the size of the Jambox and has the familiar brick-like design. It weighs at 2.7 pounds, so it is still portable! considering the sound it delivers.
It is available in 3 variants Graphite Hex, Red Dot, White Wave. The design is appealing and you'll not find such on any other bluetooth speaker in the market.
So coming on to what it does, it is a bluetooth speaker therefore enabling you to play your music wirelessly. It can connect with any bluetooth enabled device, smartphone or tablet. You can expect a range of 30 to 40 feet while connecting your device. There is a dedicated pairing button and the device remembers up to 8 devices. There is a Jawbone Companion App available for Android devices for further assistance.

The sound quality is also very good on the device. The device is 3 times louder compared to its predecessor, the Jambox and no distortion occurs at high volumes. The devices has an inbuilt microphone that has noise cancellation and 360 degree input.

The device comes with a rechargeable battery, that lasts for 15 hours. It lacks the carrying case that comes with the Jambox. You'll have to buy it separately.

Finally, the price, the Big Jambox from Jawbone sells for $299. It seems to overpriced, but considering the sound and features on the device , I'd definitely recommend it.
