Jawbone Bluetooth Speaker Review

Today I am doing a review of the Jawbone Big Jambox, which is a portable bluetooth speaker. The Big Jambox is the elder brother of the previously released Jambox.


The Big Jambox is thrice the size of the Jambox and has the familiar brick-like design. It weighs at 2.7 pounds, so it is still portable! considering the sound it delivers.

Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C

Apple yesterday unveiled its two new phones, the iPhone 5S and the budget phone iPhone 5C.

After months of rumors and leaks, finally iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C have been released.


First of all lets talk about the iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 5S is powered by the new A7 processor, which means it is faster and has better graphics performance as compared to the previous generation iPhone 5.

Fifa 14 Demo

EA Sports has just released the demo of their latest football game Fifa 14.



 The Fifa 14 demo is out now in Europe on PC and Xbox360. It will be available on PS3 tomorrow.

The demo includes 8 playable teams. These include Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris saint Germain, Manchester City, NY Red Bulls and AC Milan.

Sony launches PS Vita TV

Sony has announced a new revolutionary device, the PS Vita TV at the Tokyo games show.

The device is very small indeed. The dimensions are 6cm x 10cm. The device is not too costly, it is priced at just $100.

The PS Vita TV comes with a lot of capabilities.

Xbox One release date

Microsoft has finally confirmed the release date of its next-gen gaming console, the Xbox one.


Microsoft will be releasing the Xbox one on November 22 in 13 territories ( US, UK ,Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain ). Everyone outside these territories will have to wait till around 2014.

Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition overview

So this is my third post regarding Samsung's Berlin event and in this post I'll be talking about the new tablet from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 10.1

The new Note 10.1 was launched with Galaxy Note III smartphone and Galaxy gear by Samsung in Berlin last week.

The Tablet is very powerful. It has a 1.9 Ghz eight core processor and 3 GB of RAM. It comes with a 8 MP front and a 2 MP rear facing camera.

Samsung's Berlin event recap

 If you guys missed the event, don't worry I'll update you about it. The highlights of the event were launch of Samsung's 3 new devices Galaxy note III, Galaxy gear and Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition.

First of all, Samsung launched its new smartphone the Galaxy note III.

The Galaxy note III has a 5.7 inch Full HD display, quite similar to its predecessor Note II. But the overall breadth of the device has remained same, meaning more screen and less bezel. The phone is also lighter than the previous one.

Google to launch Android 4.4 KitKat

KitKat might seem funny to you, but its true Google is set to release the latest update to the Android OS, the Android 4.4 KitKat.

Google has actually done a deal with Nestle. Google will be using Nestle's chocolate bar KitKat's brand name and on the other side you will be seeing the Android bot on Nestle chocolate bar wrappers.

One interesting thing about the deal is that there was no money involved.

Finland based company Nokia has sold its mobile phone unit to Microsoft for $7.2 billion.

We all saw how Nokia was struggling to keep with its competitors Samsung and Apple. And company officials thought this was the right time to do this. Nokia was once a leader in the mobile phone industry, but recent times have been quite tough for Nokia.

Acer pioneers in bringing the first smartphone ever with 4K capabilities. The Liquid S2 from Acer will be able to record videos in 4K resolution.


 First of all for the people who don't know what 4K is, 4K is a display with horizontal resolution of around 4000 pixels ( way ahead of the present 1080p displays ).

Apple introduces iPhone Trade-in program

Apple has launched an iPhone Trade-in program, where you could trade your old iPhone and get credit on purchase of a new phone from apple. The program launched on Friday in the US.

The amount that your old iPhone could fetch you is not confirmed yet. But you should expect something around $300.

Asus Padfone Infinity A86 images leak

Asus is working on the successor of the current Asus Padfone Infinity A80 and recently some images of the Asus Padfone Infinity A86 have leaked on the internet. This is surprising because the A80 was launched not very long back.

The images were leaked on a Taiwan based website known as ePrice.

As you can see, the A86 looks very similar to its predecessor the A80. So the A86 should support the tablet dock that came with the A80.

Samsung to launch Galaxy Gear and Galaxy note III on September 4

Samsung's Berlin event is just around the corner i.e. September 4 and Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching its Smartwatch Galaxy Gear and Smartphone Galaxy Note III in the event.

I am very excited about the Galaxy gear. Samsung had filed for a Trademark 'Galaxy Gear' in South Korea and the US in June, earlier this year. So the release was more or less expected.

Yes guys, today rumors are surfacing on the internet that Nokia is working on a tablet based on Windows RT. The tablet is named as Nokia Sirius.

The tablet will have a 10.1 inch Full HD screen with a resolution 1920x1080. The tablet will be similar in looks to the Nokia Lumia phones ( colored back panels ).

The Google Chromecast is a tiny device, comparable to your USB thumb drive, that plugs into your television's HDMI port. It has a LED indicator light, a micro USB port and a reset button. Holding the reset button for 25 seconds resets the device.

Nokia launches Lumia 625 and Lumia 925 in India

Nokia India has added 2 new phones to its Windows phone based Lumia lineup, Lumia 625 and Lumia 925.

Lumia 625 will retail for 19,999 and Lumia 925 for 34,000.

Coming on to their specs, Lumia 625 has a 4.7 inch screen with a resolution of 480x800, 1.2 Ghz dual core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 5 Mega-pixel rear facing camera. It runs on Windows phone 8.

Is Xbox one cheaper than PS4?

Yes it is true that Xbox one is actually cheaper than PS4.

You may be thinking that Xbox one sells for $499 while PS4 goes for $399, then how is it cheaper?
Let me explain.

First of all, the Xbox one comes bundled with Kinect. While on the other hand, you will have to buy the Playstation eye camera separately for $60.

PS4 launch date confirmed

Good news guys, Sony has finally confirmed the launch date for their next-gen gaming console PS4.

The Playstation 4 will launch November 15 in North America ( United states and Canada ) and November 29 in Europe.

The Playstation 4 is available for pre-order for $399 / £349. Surprisingly, Sony has revealed that 1 million PS4 consoles have been pre-ordred till now.

By the end of this year 33 gaming titles will be available for the PS4.

Another good news is that Amazon has launched an offer, where you will be able to exchange your PS3 version of your game for the PS4 version for just $9.99

On the other hand, Microsoft has not yet confirmed the launch date of their next-gen console Xbox one. The console is rumored to launch by November.

I can't wait to get my hand on the Playstation 4, what about you guys?
