Acer pioneers in bringing the first smartphone ever with 4K capabilities. The Liquid S2 from Acer will be able to record videos in 4K resolution.
First of all for the people who don't know what 4K is, 4K is a display with horizontal resolution of around 4000 pixels ( way ahead of the present 1080p displays ).

Coming on to its specs, the Liquid S2 is powered by a Snapdragon 800 2.2 Ghz quad core processor and 2 GB of RAM.
The display is a 6 inch IPS Full HD display with 368 ppi. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The main attraction. the camera is 13 MP and capable of recording 4K Ultra-HD. The front camera is 2 MP and supports 1080p recording.
The phone has great connectivity too with 4G, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi ac/a/b/g/n.
The device hosts 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable to an enormous 128 GB via micro SD slot.
The phone will launch by the end of October in Europe.
