Samsung's Berlin event is just around the corner i.e. September 4 and Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching its Smartwatch Galaxy Gear and Smartphone Galaxy Note III in the event.
I am very excited about the Galaxy gear. Samsung had filed for a Trademark 'Galaxy Gear' in South Korea and the US in June, earlier this year. So the release was more or less expected.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear will be a wearable device, similar in design to a wristwatch. It will be running on Android. It includes capabilities to access the internet, make or receive calls and send emails or messages. But the display will be not be flexible.
This is really surprising that, with Apple leading the way every time, this time Samsung has moved forward in launching its Smartwatch ( surely beating Apple in this respect).
Also the Galaxy Note III will be featured in the event. The phone is rumored to have an octa core processor, 3 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear facing camera, a 6 inch Full HD display and running on Andoid 4.3 Jelly bean.
