Microsoft has finally confirmed the release date of its next-gen gaming console, the Xbox one.
Microsoft will be releasing the Xbox one on November 22 in 13 territories ( US, UK ,Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain ). Everyone outside these territories will have to wait till around 2014.
Interestingly, Microsoft's competitor Sony is set to release the PS4 on November 15 in North America ( United states and Canada ) and November 29 in Europe. Also, Sony is releasing PS4 worldwide this year.
So, Sony has a small 7 day advantage over Microsoft in North America.
23 launch titles will be available for the Xbox one including Forza Motorsport, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome. Another Xbox one exclusive Titanfall, which has created a lot of buzz. is coming in 2014.
Another interesting thing is that the Xbox 360 was also launched on November 22.
